The Maturity Matrix is an international organisational assessment tool that has been designed to stimulate practice-led quality improvement in primary care, such as the Olympic Village Polyclinic. The international version of the Maturity Matrix consists of 7 dimensions that reflect important aspects of organisational development such as:
- Using information
- Using patient data
- Managing staff
- Listening to patients
- Improving the practice
- Working as a team
- Operating procedures
Following an external audit carried out with great success on 06/03/08, the Olympic Village Polyclinic has been highlighted as a model Primary Care organisation for Greece, offering high quality health services that other providers could compare against it.
